The Wood-Word Son was created to share simple DIY videos, covering the steps, challenges, and successes of home projects. The mission here is to encourage beginner DIYers to kickstart their own projects with confidence and enthusiasm.
With decades of DIY experiences, I have something to share to help make your journey a delightful one. There is always a wonderful feeling of accomplishment at the end of every project, no matter how small.
When we are creative we reflect our Ultimate Creator who placed very special gifts in each one of us. Part of the joys of this life is discovering, developing, and then deploying those gifts to serve us, as well as those we come in contact with.
So let’s embrace our creativity with that in mind as we journey through fabulous DIY explorations and experiences.

Since I was a young teenager, I have always had a passion for DIY, especially woodworking, tools, and gadgets. Now, I’m thrilled to share the knowledge and experiences I have gained over decades, to help you achieve your project goals. I know as it was with me, that everyone starts as a beginner.
But, with a little faith and some action [which I call, “a DIY attitude”], we get better—one project at a time.
I am always fascinated by plants and trees and so I enjoy planting and reaping. I also get an unexplainable and priceless satisfaction from crafting something from wood.
Behind the Name
Wood – I am fascinated by plants and trees. Every summer, I enjoy process of planting and reaping. I also get an unexplainable and priceless satisfaction from crafting something valuable from wood.
Word – I am a student of the Bible also referred to as the Word of God. I am daily fascinated by the love of my Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ; through whom I have been named a child (son) of God.
My Primary Goal in this life is to imitate as much of my creator who is the Ultimate Creator.
